Luke Worley is allegedly kicked off Married At First Sight UK following a heated row with fellow groom Jordan Gayle.

Luke Worley and his partner Jay Howard were allegedly removed from the current series of Married At First Sight UK following an altercation.

The Daily Mail claims that in scenes yet to air, Luke clashed with a fellow groom - Jack Grealish lookalike Jordan Gayle - and execs thought they had no choice but to kick the Clacton-based sales executive off the show.

"Luke and Jordan struggled to get along from the moment they met, but no-one was expecting them to clash like they eventually did," a source told the newspaper.

"The cast attend a couples' retreat and during dinner things got particularly heated between them and later they come to blows inside Jordan's apartment.

"Channel 4 bosses had no choice but eject Luke from the programme, which consequently ended his wife Jay's time in the process... as per the show's rules you enter as a couple and leave as a couple.

"The fight was caught on camera, meaning there's every chance it could be shown in the most explosive scenes ever to be aired on Married At First Sight UK."

A Channel 4 spokesperson said: "The wellbeing of cast and crew is our utmost priority at all times throughout production and beyond.

"During filming, an altercation occurred between two cast members which was defused immediately by crew. All contributors involved were offered appropriate support."

Luke, meanwhile, angrily hit out at the reports on an Instagram video, also accusing some of his fellow castmates of leaking stories to the press.

"I'm fucking fuming by the way, and first of all, I just want to apologise to the whole audience who watches Married At First Sight UK because we have obviously got a snake in the cast - or snakes," he said. "And they feel the need to sell stories and give spoilers throughout the whole season of the show.

"This whole season has just been spoilers, and they make like 50 quid or something stupid for one story. You must be that desperate for a couple of quid if you can't wait a couple of weeks but you choose to sell a story.

"I'm actually so pissed off - not just for myself but for you guys at home, who just want to tune in. But it's been ruined for you guys. Everything has been ruined."

Referring to the Daily Mail story, he continued: "I just want to make it clear that the article is exaggerated. Half of that stuff is not as it seems and there are certain people above who should have taken accountability.

"As soon as I'm allowed to talk about stuff, and as soon as the show is over, I'm going to be posting everything about it on Instagram so make sure you're following because it's going to be juicy."

Married At First Sight UK continues Mondays to Thursdays at 9pm on E4.
