Georges Berthonneau of last year's Married At First Sight UK is reportedly in talks for the new series of Celebs Go Dating.

Married At First Sight UK star Georges Berthonneau is reportedly in the frame for the next series of Celebs Go Dating.

The 30-year-old got hitched to Peggy Lawrence on last year's edition of MAFS, but despite a rocky time during the experiment - Peggy was unimpressed with Georges's online squatting videos - they ended the show as a couple.

In January the pair split however, with Georges denying accusations that he had cheated on Peggy despite going out for a night with one of his ex-girlfriends.

According to The Sun, he could now be back on the TV dating scene with an appearance on Celebs Go Dating, which is being filmed later this year.

"Bosses have approached Georges and chatted to him about a potential spot on Celebs Go Dating," a source told the newspaper.

"They think he was so entertaining on MAFS and he's a lovely guy to boot, so they are confident viewers will want to see him have his happy ending after things didn't work out with Peggy.

"It's not a done deal yet though, as there are other famous faces in the mix and casting have got to get the right balance of names, but Georges is interested."

The new series is expected to air on E4 later this year.
