Newly-hitched Megan and Bob headed off to the Dominican Republic for their honeymoon on Married At First Sight UK but within days she told him that she was feeling "claustrophobic".
Fun-loving Bob threw himself into the party spirit straight away, making the most of the pool, taking part in karaoke and getting involved in a dance lesson, while Megan appeared more comfortable watching on from the sidelines.
"They do say opposites attract and we definitely are opposites in ways of expressing our energy," she told the cameras, before deciding to tell Bob directly how she was feeling.
"I feel like I 100% know why we've been matched, we've got so much in common," she told him. "I also think we've got some big differences. I think I'm an introvert, you're an extrovert.
"What makes me happy doesn't make you happy. Being around you would make me happy... space makes me happy. I'm just feeling really overwhelmed."
As Bob stayed silent, she added: "I think for me it's really really important that we take a step back from the romantic side. I'm just feeling a bit claustrophobic with it."
Bob appeared to take the news on the chin, but later admitted to the cameras that his new wife's comments had left him doubting himself.
"My mind's a little bit scrambled at the moment to be honest," he said. "It's a spanner in the works. Maybe I need to work on myself."
The honeymoon ended with the couple behaving amiably with one another - but with Megan sleeping on the sofa.
Married At First Sight UK continues Thursday at 9pm on E4.
