Daniel and Matt will make history as Married At First Sight UK's first gay couple when they get married in the new series.
In the first episode, which aired on E4 tonight, Daniel - a 27-year-old salesman from Northern Ireland - joined the girls at their hen party, revealing that he was planning to marry a man.
"It's amazing to be one half of the first gay couple," he told the cameras.
"Gay marriage has only been legalised very recently in Northern Ireland, which is absolutely shocking. And, now that I can share my relationship with the world, I find that so important."

Meanwhile, over at the stag party, Matt - a 39-year-old charity worker from Yorkshire - told the boys that he would be getting hitched to another man, prompting them to give their congratulations and support.
Explaining that he came out quite early in life, he told them: "When I started to tell people and realised who I was, I kind of became the person who I am now."
Daniel and Matt's relationship may not be smooth sailing, however, with a preview for the next episode suggesting that Daniel is left uncomfortable with the 12-year age gap when he meets his new husband for the first time.
Married At First Sight UK continues Tuesday at 9pm on E4.
