Jeremy Renner is said to be in a "critical but stable" condition in hospital after being involved a snow plowing accident.

The 51-year-old, who stars as Hawkeye in the Marvel Universe, had to be airlifted from his ranch near Lake Tahoe in Nevada following the incident.
