Robert Downey Jr discusses Iron Man's Marvel future

Robert Downey Jr talks about his possible involvement in future MCU movies.

Warning: This article contains spoilers about Avengers: Endgame which some readers may prefer to avoid.

Robert Downey Jr has said that he is "done" with Marvel after the events of Avengers: Endgame.

The epic movie saw Downey Jr's Tony Stark / Iron Man sacrifice himself in order to stop super-villain Thanos, and the film ended with Stark's funeral.

Rumours are abound that Iron Man may have a cameo in the upcoming prequel movie Black Widow, which shows the origins of the also-deceased character, played by Scarlett Johansson.

Asked about that speculation on the acting podcast SmartLess, the 55-year-old replied abruptly: "That's all done."

Downey Jr is now working on producing the Netflix series Sweet Tooth, based on the DC comic of the same name.
