Singer and former Loose Women panellist Jamelia reportedly signs up for this year's Celebrity MasterChef.

Singer and former Loose Women star Jamelia has reportedly signed up to appear in this year's edition of Celebrity MasterChef.

The 42-year-old, known for songs such as 'Superstar', 'Money' and 'Beware of the Dog', has turned to acting in recent years, with roles on shows including Hollyoaks, Doctors and Little Darlings.

According to The Sun, she is now part of the lineup for the new series of Celebrity MasterChef and has already started filming.

"Jamelia is excited about Celebrity MasterChef and she's more than ready to step back into the public eye after giving birth in October," a source told the newspaper.

"Of course it was nerve-wracking cooking for Gregg [Wallace] and John [Torode] but Jamelia was more than up for the challenge - she had a great time."

Also said to be taking part in the new series, which will air on BBC One this summer, is Strictly Come Dancing pro Dianne Buswell.
