Cooking Style: "My style of cooking is a mixture between European and Asian cuisine. I love the using Italian-style comfort foods as a base and adding a flair of flavours from Asia. I've always loved cooking Italian food, and travelled for eight weeks in my campervan, Rosie, learning how the Italians cook. I also spent three months in Vietnam, Thailand and Laos and tasted the wonderful food, and tried to replicate it in my own kitchen."
Why MasterChef?: "I entered MasterChef to try to challenge myself and push my cooking forward. I've always cooked at home, but really wanted to see what I could achieve if I put my heart and soul into it."
Ambition: "My ambition is to write cookery books based on the elements, Earth, Wind, Water and Fire. One would be based on land produce, one on seafood and so forth! I'd also love to open a restaurant one day, with a focus on big bold flavours."
