Peter Andre reveals that he is planning to appear on a future series of Celebrity MasterChef.

Peter Andre has revealed that he is planning to take part in the BBC's Celebrity MasterChef at some point in the future.

The 48-year-old singer is a keen cook but has previously rejected advances to appear on the long-running culinary contest as he wants to develop his skills first.

The former I'm A Celebrity star told New: "I love MasterChef and it's the only other reality show I want to do, but I haven't said yes because I don't feel ready for it.

"I know how to cook at home, but when it comes to creating meals from scratch I lack confidence. I want to get better before taking on the challenge, so hopefully I'll be there one day!"

This year's series is currently being filmed and features Andre's ex-wife Katie Price among the celebrity contestants.
