Dick Van Dyke has said that he has 'no complaints' about life as he celebrates his milestone 97th birthday.
The actor, who has been performing since the 1940s and is still working, turned 97 on Tuesday.
The Mary Poppins star was out running errands in California this week when he was asked by a journalist how he felt about reaching such a ripe age.
"Well, if I'd known I was going to live this long I'd have taken better care of myself!" he joked, according to the Daily Mail.
Asked for his secret to a long life, he replied: "Well, I don't know, all my friends are dead so I'm not going to complain!"
Van Dyke is currently living with his second wife Arlene Silver, a makeup artist who is 46 years his junior.
