The release date for Dune: Part Two has been officially postponed until next year amid the ongoing strikes in Hollywood.
The sci-fi sequel, starring Timothee Chalamet and Zendaya, had originally been due to come out on November 5 but studio Warner Bros. has now confirmed a revised date of March 15, 2024.
Although work on the film was completed some time ago, many actors are choosing not to participate in publicity for new projects in solidarity with the striking writers.
As a consequence of the new date for Dune, Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire is also being pushed back and will now come out on April 12 rather than March 14.
Sony has also delayed some of its major movies due to the strikes, with both Kraven the Hunter and the next Ghostbusters film now postponed until 2024.
