Filming on the new movie Spencer, starring Kristen Stewart as Princess Diana, has begun in Germany and the UK.
The feature is set over one weekend in 1991 as Diana and Prince Charles - on the verge of deciding to split up - spend Christmas at Sandringham with the Royal Family.
A synopsis for the film, which also stars Timothy Spall, Sally Hawkins and Sean Harris, teases: "There's eating and drinking, shooting and hunting. Diana knows the game. This year, things will be a whole lot different."
Stewart said: "Spencer is a dive inside an emotional imagining of who Diana was at a pivotal turning point in her life.
"It is a physical assertion of the sum of her parts, which starts with her given name; Spencer.
"It is a harrowing effort for her to return to herself, as Diana strives to hold onto what the name Spencer means to her."
The movie, which comes off the back of renewed interest in the Diana-Charles relationship through The Crown, is expected to be released later this year.
