Leonardo DiCaprio could reportedly star in a Hollywood remake of the Oscar-winning Danish movie Another Round.
The film follows a group of four teacher friends who decide to conduct an experiment to see whether raising their blood alcohol levels will have a positive impact on their productivity and creativity.
At Sunday's Oscars ceremony, Another Round won the award for Best International Feature - and in his acceptance speech, director Thomas Vinterberg paid a moving tribute to his daughter, who was killed several days into filming the movie by a reckless driver.
According to Deadline, DiCaprio's Appian Way production company has now secured the rights to remake the film in the English language, with the Titanic actor potentially in line to lead the cast.
The publication says that Jake Gyllenhaal's production outfit had also been interested in the project, but Appian Way won the bidding process and will now move quickly to hire a writer and get production underway.
Another Round is due to get a cinema release in the UK on July 2.
