Beyonce has been named as the half-time performer during Netflix's inaugural NFL gameday on Christmas Day.
Under a new deal kicking in this season, Netflix has the rights to broadcast at least one game live on December 25 for each of the next three seasons to its entire global subscriber base, including the UK.
This year the streamer has selected two, starting with the Kansas City Chiefs against the Pittsburgh Steelers at 1pm ET (6pm UK), followed by the Baltimore Ravens' trip to the Houston Texans at 4.30pm ET (9.30pm UK).
Houston native Beyonce will take to the stage at half-time of the latter for what will be the first live performance of songs from her acclaimed Cowboy Carter album, alongside some surprise guest performers who appeared on the record.
Beyonce is no stranger to the Super Bowl stage, having headlined Super Bowl XLVII in 2013 before returning three years later as part of a collective alongside Coldplay and Bruno Mars.
