B*Witched announce new music for 25th anniversary
Irish girl group B*Witched announce new music to mark 25 years since their formation.

B*Witched have announced new music to mark 25 years since they first hit the charts.

The Irish four-piece - Lindsay Armou, Sinead O'Carroll, Edele Lynch and Keavy Lynch - achieved a string of hits in the late '90s and early '00s, notching up number ones including 'C'est La Vie', 'Rollercoaster', 'To You I Belong' and 'Blame It On The Weatherman'.

The group split in 2002 but reunited a decade later and have since been performing occasional gigs around the UK and Ireland.

Now they plan to release a new single, 'Birthday', this Friday in time for St Patrick's Day next week and have hinted at even more singles throughout 2023.

"We've been working on so many different sounds. We wanted to bring B*Witched to 2023," Edele told The Sun.

"Then we landed on Birthday and when we heard it we were like, 'This is the one'.

"There's lots of other good things going around in the studio and you'll hear them come out over the year."

Keavy added: "You'll hear lots of new songs. You won't be able to get away from us by the end of the year."

The video for 'Birthday' will premiere Friday at 10am on YouTube.
