Carrie Underwood and the Village People have been confirmed as the music performers at Donald Trump's inauguration next week.
The 78-year-old will return to the White House as the 47th President next Monday at a ceremony that will see him replace Joe Biden in top office.
Underwood, who won American Idol 20 years ago this year, will perform 'America The Beautiful' alongside the Armed Forces Choir and the United States Naval Academy Glee Club just before Trump is sworn in.
"I love our country and am honoured to have been asked to sing at the Inauguration and to be a small part of this historic event," she said in a statement.
"I am humbled to answer the call at a time when we must all come together in the spirit of unity and looking to the future."
The Village People's iconic anthem 'YMCA' has been a regular fixture of Trump's numerous rallies over the last decade and the group themselves will now appear live to perform at one of his inauguration balls and at a rally being held the day before he is sworn in.
In a statement on Facebook, the band wrote: "We know this won't make some of you happy to hear however we believe that music is to be performed without regard to politics.
"Our song Y.M.C.A. is a global anthem that hopefully helps bring the country together after a tumultuous and divided campaign where our preferred candidate lost.
"Therefore, we believe it's now time to bring the country together with music which is why VILLAGE PEOPLE will be performing at various events as part of the 2025 Inauguration of Donald J. Trump."
Other performers include country singer Lee Greenwood and opera star Christopher Macchio.
