Kylie Minogue is reportedly in discussions about staging a 12-week residency in Las Vegas next year.
The 54-year-old remains one of the biggest and most enduring pop stars on the planet, with a back catalogue stretching back to the late '80s, and she boasts seven UK number ones and 11 UK number twos.
According to The Sun, Minogue and her label Sony BMG have been scouting potential venues for a Vegas residency and have already received offers from Planet Hollywood and Caesars Palace.
"While Kylie may not have a huge profile Stateside, she is an absolutely massive draw for the Brits," a source told the newspaper.
"She has a cult gay following especially, and it's felt she will easily draw in the pink pound.
"Kylie visited a few venues in the summer, and numerous meetings have since been held.
"It's a no brainer for Kylie - easy money, and no touring. Everyone involved is hugely excited about the prospect."
Minogue has toured the US twice before - in 2009 with For Me, For You then again in 2011 with the Aphrodite: Les Folies Tour.
