Westlife announce 16-date tour of UK and Ireland
Westlife will play 16 tour dates around the UK and Ireland in the second half of next year.

Westlife have announced details of a new UK and Irish tour for the second half of next year.

The four-piece boyband are enjoying a career renaissance, some 23 years after they first formed, and will release their 12th studio album Wild Dreams later this month.

The accompanying 16-date tour will begin on July 8, 2022 in Dublin, visiting cities including Leeds, Aberdeen, Nottingham and Cork before finishing up in Cardiff on December 11, 2022.

The run also includes two dates in London - Wembley Stadium on August 6, 2022 and The O2 on December 7, 2022.

"We cannot wait to get back out on the road," said Nicky Byrne. "This tour includes some of our biggest ever shows in the UK and Ireland and we finally get to put on a show at Wembley Stadium after all these years!

"The tour is going to be spectacular with some big surprises that I think the fans will love. It will include all of our greatest hits as well as some of our new music which has gone down so well with everyone. This is a Westlife tour not to be missed. We're all looking forward to it."

Tickets go on sale this Friday.
