This Morning favourite Alison Hammond has reportedly been lined up as the host of a reboot of classic gameshow Wheel of Fortune.
The show aired between 1988 and 2001 on ITV with hosts including Nicky Campbell, Bradley Walsh and John Leslie, while the likes of Carol Smillie and Jenny Powell featured as the assistants.
According to The Sun, a new version is in the works with Hammond, 45, serving as the main presenter in what would be her first regular solo hosting role.
The news comes after ITV confirmed reports that Hammond and Dermot O'Leary will become the new permanent presenters of the Friday edition of This Morning from January, replacing Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford.
The former Big Brother star is thought to be filming a pilot episode of the gameshow, with a full series on the cards should it prove successful.
ITV recently revived Family Fortunes with new host Gino D'Acampo and has also rebooted several formats in Alan Carr's Epic Gameshow, which is due to return for a festive special on Christmas Eve.
