Entertainment legend Betty White is said to be embracing the finer things in life in the coronavirus lockdown as she isolates at home in Los Angeles.
According to Closer Weekly, the 98-year-old is reading the daily newspaper "cover to cover" and working her way through crossword puzzle books to keep mentally active.
"I'm blessed with incredibly good health," White is quoted as saying by the magazine. "That's something you appreciate a lot."
The Golden Girls star is apparently regularly dining on her "favourite snack" - hot dogs and french fries - while sipping on a vodka martini in her living room.
A close friend revealed to the magazine: "Betty's message to the world is to slow down and enjoy what you have: family, friends, your pets. She says that the pandemic is serious, but we have come through worse. It's Mother Nature's way of telling us all to slow down."
Once coronavirus lockdown has ended White will get to work on her next project, playing a drill sergeant for aspiring Santa Clauses in a new Christmas movie.
