Biggins posts laughing fit video from coronavirus isolation

Panto legend Christopher Biggins posts a video of him laughing uncontrollably in an effort to 'cheer up' the nation.

Pantomime legend Christopher Biggins has uploaded a video of him laughing uncontrollably to social media in an attempt to 'cheer up' the nation.

The 71-year-old is in the age category most at risk from the coronavirus pandemic, which has so far claimed more than 11,000 lives and forced hundreds of millions of people around the globe into self-isolation.

Biggins, whose career in the industry spans more than 50 years, laughed for almost 30 seconds in the short clip on Twitter.

"This is to cheer all our friends up," he declares after the laughter subsides. "It's the only thing we can do."

Elsewhere, 77-year-old Kim Woodburn has branded herself "an old broad" as she enters her own period of home isolation.
