Channel 4 confirms lineup for Taskmaster series 11

Lee Mack is among the contestants taking part in the next series of Taskmaster in 2021.

Channel 4 has confirmed the new lineup of contestants for the next series of Taskmaster following tonight's conclusion to series 10.

Richard Herring was crowned the champion of the first series to air on Channel 4 following its switch from Dave and will now go on to compete in the next Champion of Champions tournament alongside Liza Tarbuck, Kerry Godliman, Lou Sanders and Ed Gamble in 2021.

The five comedians in the running for series 11 include Not Going Out's Lee Mack, stand-up Jamali Maddix, Ghosts actor Charlotte Ritchie, Frayed's Sarah Kendall and Man Down star Mike Wozniak.

Channel 4 has yet to confirm broadcast dates for either of the new series, although based on precedent they are likely to arrive in late Spring.

The show will return on January 1 for a one-off special, Taskmaster's New Year's Treat, with guests including Shirley Ballas, Rylan Clark-Neal and Krishnan Guru-Murthy.
