Katie Price confirms son Harvey still in intensive care

Katie Price pays tribute to her seriously ill son Harvey, describing him as "brave and a fighter".

Katie Price has confirmed that her son Harvey is still in intensive care as he continues to battle a mystery illness.

The 18-year-old, who suffers from multiple disabilities, was rushed to hospital on Monday after his temperature rocketed to 42 degrees and he started struggling to breathe.

Yesterday it was reported that the youngster is facing a "critical" 48 hours as doctors attempt to stabilise him and get a more accurate gauge of his ailments.

Updating fans on Twitter last night, Price wrote: "Thank you again for your messages, they mean a lot to me.

"I've left the hospital for the evening and can confirm Harvey is still in intensive care and medical condition remains complex. I love him so much, he is so brave and a fighter."

According to The Sun, Harvey's father Dwight Yorke has allegedly not yet contacted her to check in on the condition of his son.

As well as suffering from Prader-Willi syndrome, which causes extreme weight gain, Harvey is also afflicted with partial blindness, autism and diabetes.
