Katie Price quits social media to focus on recovery

Katie Price decides to take a break from social media in order to focus on her recovery from two broken feet.

Katie Price has confirmed that she is taking a break from social media for a while in order to fully focus on her recovery from two broken feet.

The 42-year-old suffered the injury while on holiday and has been warned that it may take two years before her rehabilitation is complete.

After going through surgery earlier this month, Price has at times been left in agony, such is the severity of her condition, and has now been instructed to rest if she wants to get better.

"She's been living her life almost as normal and not taking it seriously, and now she's found herself getting a talking-to by the doctor," a source told The Sun.

"She's determined to get better now and is taking a two-week break from everything to focus on healing."

A statement on Price's social media confirmed: "Katie is taking some time out of the media spotlight. Her family and doctors have told Katie that she must rest in order to heal.

"Katie wants to thank everyone for their ongoing support and will be back when she feels ready."

Despite being instructed to rest, Price has headed for a weekend break with her mother and sister at a clubhouse in Sussex.
