Katie Price reveals alcohol-free Christmas

Katie Price claims that her house has been an alcohol-free zone over Christmas.

Katie Price has revealed that she has given up on alcohol after turning her life around in 2020.

The 42-year-old endured a tumultuous few years - being declared bankrupt, learning that her mother is terminally ill and battling cocaine addiction - before meeting new boyfriend Carl Woods earlier this year.

Price credits her new relationship for getting herself back on track and as a result, her household has become a booze-free zone.

"I've started working again and it's going well," she told The Sun. "I'm happy and the kids have seen a difference. I used to love a Tia Maria and coke on Christmas Day, or a porn star martini, and I didn't even think about it.

"But there's no alcohol in my house at all, we don't drink. This is just the new normal for me. I look back to how I was, and I would never ever wish that on anyone. I never knew when I'd had enough and I'd become all exhibitionist - I don't ever want to be like that again.

"I've grown, I'm stronger and I don't need to run away or numb my emotions any more. It's been a bad year for a lot of people, but for me it's been a good year because I've met Carl and I sorted myself out."

The couple have already revealed plans to get married in the near future, while they have also been trying for a baby for several months.
