Lea Michele in "total shock" over allegations

Glee star Lea Michele is said to be in "total shock" after a string of allegations alleging bad behaviour.

Lea Michele is said to be in "total shock" by the string of allegations levelled at her over the last week.

The 33-year-old has faced multiple allegations of bullying from former colleagues on the hit show Glee, as well as other productions, sparked by a tweet in which she professed support for the Black Lives Matter movement.

Samantha Marie Ware, who co-starred with Michele on Glee's final season, replied to inform her that she had made her first TV role "a living hell" - and before too long others accused her of similar behaviour.

Trans model Plastic Martyr claimed that Michele had laughed at her for using the women's toilets at the Emmy Awards, while in a bizarre anecdote, an extra on Glee said that the actress had burped loudly in her face.

According to Page Six, the relentless stream of stories has taken Michele, who is heavily pregnant, by complete surprise.

"She's had a real wake-up call," a friend told the column. "It's never easy to hear people speak about you this way. It's a total shock."

Another source is quoted by the publication as saying: "Lea was a bitch to a lot of people who are now taking the opportunity to come forward. She may not be the nicest person, but she's not racist, sexist or transphobic. I would say she has behavioural issues that she's dealing with.

"She is listening, she hears what everyone says and wants to apologise. This is her past and she wants to handle things responsibly."

After the initial allegation from Ware, Michele posted an apology for past "immaturity" and how she had been "perceived" by colleagues but has yet to comment publicly since.
