Lindsay Lohan claims she had 27-year-old dog

Mean Girls star Lindsay Lohan claims that she once owned a 27-year-old Maltese dog named Gucci.

Actress and singer Lindsay Lohan has claimed that she once owned a dog that lived to be 27 years old.

The Mean Girls star, 33, said that the dog - named 'Gucci' - was a Maltese, a breed of toy dog that typically lives to between 12 and 15 years old.

"I got my first dog when I got my first pair of Gucci boots and she ate them and I named her Gucci," Lohan told fans on Instagram live.

"And she lived till 27 years old. She was a strong little micro-mini Maltese, and yeah, that happened, God bless her."

Lohan made a return to the music scene after a 12-year absence on Friday, releasing new single 'Back To Me' from her upcoming third studio album.
