The BBC has named Paddy McGuinness as the host of its new primetime reality series I Can See Your Voice.
The show is essentially a reverse version of The Voice, with contestants able to see but not hear the singers performing in front of them.
If the contestants are able to sift the good singers from the bad then they will win cash prizes but if they pick a bad singer as their winner, the prize fund goes to the bad singer instead.
"A show like this doesn't come along very often so I am thrilled to have been asked to host I Can See Your Voice," said McGuinness.
"It's bonkers, silly and the ultimate family night in! Everyone can play along at home and I'm looking forward to welcoming the good and the bad to our stage.
"The show has been a huge success around the world so here's to making it the one to watch in the UK in 2021."
The series is due to be filmed this autumn for broadcast on BBC One early next year.
