American Idol host Ryan Seacrest is allegedly considering making his return to Los Angeles a permanent one after the coronavirus lockdown ends.
The 45-year-old is renowned as one of the hardest-working people in the industry, also hosting a daily radio show, the daily talk show Live with Kelly and Ryan, the American Top 40, E!'s red carpet coverage and executive producing a slew of other shows.
Concern was raised for Seacrest last month, however, when he appeared to slur his words and suffer facial distortions while hosting the live Idol finale from his home.
A spokesman subsequently denied speculation that the presenter had suffered a stroke and instead claimed that he was suffering from "added stress" and needed a rest.
Seacrest has been at home in LA during the coronavirus lockdown and according to Closer Weekly, it has "got him thinking" that he may relocate there permanently this year.
"He has nothing against New York, but he feels that he was healthier in LA," a source told the magazine. "Right now, he's dreading the thought of not living in California."
Should he decide to remain in LA, Seacrest would almost certainly have to give up Live with Kelly and Ryan, which is shot in the Big Apple.
