The BBC has announced that Saturday Kitchen Live will be reworked as daily live format later this month.
The move is designed to capitalise on the increased audience for daytime TV due to the coronavirus lockdown, which has seen most of the population forced to stay at home in an effort to slow the spread of the disease.
Daily Kitchen Live will air Monday to Friday at 10am on BBC One for a fortnight from April 13, with Matt Tebbutt hosting from the show's regular Saturday set.
"I am really excited to be hosting this new show for the BBC," said Tebbutt. "It's going to be a great way to share some fun each morning with the viewers, while also sharing our ideas for quick and simple recipes that will get the whole family cooking."
In a statement, the BBC said that the show's production team and presenters would stick to safe social distancing measures on and off screen.
