Next queen eliminated from RuPaul's Drag Race UK

Another queen is eliminated from RuPaul's Drag Race UK after the first ever RuRuVision Song Contest.

Joe Black was voted back in then swiftly turfed back out on the latest episode of RuPaul's Drag Race UK.

Episode five of the second series began with RuPaul announcing a break to filming due to the coronavirus pandemic - with the queens then returning to the work room after a seven-month break.

Ru announced that following a positive test for coronavirus, Veronica Green was unable to continue in the competition but had an "open invitation" to return for the next series.

As a result one of the eliminated queens - Joe Black, Cherry Valentine or Asstina Mandella, but not Ginny Lemon, who quit - was given a second chance and with five votes out of seven from the existing queens, Joe Black was welcomed back into the fold.

Guest judge MNEK helped the queens through this week's challenge, the first ever RuRuVision Song Contest, with commentary from Eurovision staple Graham Norton.

On the runway, Joe Black's outfit came in for heavy criticism, with Michelle Visage suggesting that it looked like it had come "off the rack" at Primark. "H&M," replied Joe with laughter, prompting a furious reaction from Ru.

"If it is from H&M, you'd better glitter the fuck out of it and make it something special," Ru ranted. "We're looking for Great Britain's next superstar - don't waste my time, I don't want to see any fucking H&M.

"I came all the way across the pond.... I want more - is that too much to ask?"

Unsurprisingly, Joe found herself in the bottom two alongside Tia Kofi and after a lip synch to 'Don't Leave Me This Way' by The Communards, Joe was told to sashay away.

"In the spirit of Eurovision, nil points," she said afterwards. "I was less of a wallflower than I thought I was last time and I got to show people a bit of me because I got to wear this silly bloody costume.

"There was only eight people left in the race for that crown - I was Glenn Close, but no cigar."

Next week the remaining seven queens will take on the iconic Snatch Game alongside Gemma Collins.
