RuPaul's Drag Race makes strong start on relaunched BBC Three

RuPaul's Drag Race UK versus The World helps to get the relaunched BBC Three off to a decent start in the ratings.

The return of BBC Three to the linear TV airwaves made a decent start in the ratings, according to overnight figures.

The relaunch night schedule was headlined by new spinoff series RuPaul's Drag Race UK versus The World, which brought in an impressive 348,200 (2.43%) between 9pm and 10.15pm.

New comedy short series Lazy Susan followed with 62,800 (0.58%) between 10.15pm and 10.30pm.

Earlier, a special crossover event with Radio 1 helped to launch the channel at 7pm, drawing 28,500 (0.2%) across the hour.

Two episodes of Eating With My Ex followed in the 8pm hour, pulling in 75,100 (0.47%) and 78,800 (0.49%) respectively.
