Denise van Outen has revealed that she has mended an old rift with Johnny Vaughan during the coronavirus pandemic.
The pair had a successful partnership in the second heyday of Channel 4's The Big Breakfast in the late '90s but fell out as they negotiated new contracts with the show separately.
Van Outen has previously spoken of her regret at the way their close friendship dissipated but has now admitted that they have started talking again and may even reunite on screen at some point.
"It would be nice to do something," she told The Mirror.
"Johnny and I have had a bit of a rocky relationship over the years for various reasons and, funnily enough, we've messaged a lot in lockdown."
"These situations make you reflect and realise some of the silly niggles and arguments you have are just not worth it."
The Big Breakfast, which marks its 30th anniversary in 2022, will return later this year for a one-off special hosted by Mo Gilligan as part of Channel 4's landmark 'Black Takeover' day.
