Gemma Collins says that she wants to host a new gardening show to teach youngsters "the power of gardening".

Gemma Collins has revealed that she is 'desperate' to follow in the footsteps of Charlie Dimmock and host her own TV gardening show.

The former TOWIE star revealed on her BBC podcast, The Gemma Collins Podcast, that she became green-fingered during coronavirus lockdown and is now keen to educate youngsters about "the power of gardening".

"I desperately want a gardening show," she said. "I know you all love me for the reality, but actually youngsters need to know the power of gardening and how much it can bring to your life.

"I've been very busy in the garden and I can't wait to get to the Chelsea Gardening Show. Who knows? I could have my own patch there one day with my own fabulous magical garden."

She continued: "I've learnt so much this year. I was even thinking of doing a gardening course at my local college.

"But then I was like, 'Are they going to think I'm not taking this serious' or a bit strange, like, 'Gemma Collins is turning up to do a gardening course?'.

"I think if my schedule allows, it is something I want to do."

The GC has also revealed that she wants to get pregnant in 2022 and film the birth for a new reality TV show.
