Kylie Minogue has reportedly made the decision to relocate back to her native Australia after 30 years of living in the UK.
The 53-year-old made the big move to the UK after her stint on Neighbours in the late '80s, launching an incredible long-running pop career that has seen her become the highest-selling Australian female artist of all time.
According to The Mirror, Minogue - a dual citizen of Australia and the UK - has been inspired to move back down under after spending a lot of time in her homeland during the various coronavirus lockdowns of the last 18 months.
"This is something she has been thinking about for a while," a source told the newspaper.
"This year, when she was in Australia for an extended period due to travel restrictions, it gave her time to think about where she wants to be based.
"Like many artists she spends much of her life on the road or travelling so she doesn't anticipate that this is a major change for her as she's never in one place for a long time anyway.
"COVID has given her a lot of time to think about the future and she wants to see more of her family in the times when she isn't travelling, and so she will use Australia as her base."
Minogue has previously said that a move back to Australia was unlikely as her Welsh boyfriend Paul Solomons was not keen on the idea.
