Stephen Bear: 'All of my mates have ditched me'

Controversial reality TV star Stephen Bear says that he has lost all of his friends after hitting the headlines for the wrong reasons in recent weeks.

Reality TV star Stephen Bear has said that he has found himself on "quite a lonely road" after the events of the last few weeks.

The 31-year-old was arrested last week following allegations from an ex-girlfriend that he had secretly recorded them having sex and then distributed the video to friends.

Bear, who denies the charges against him, then broke quarantine rules by visiting a supermarket just one day after he returned to the UK from Dubai.

"Since things have been said about me a lot of people has changed. I had no-one," he told The Sun.

"The only people who have stuck by me are my family and then one of my others mates who is over in Spain.

"The people I thought are my mates are clearly not. No-one's really messaged going 'are you OK?' It's quite a lonely road.

"It's funny because when I go out or I'm round people I always think in my mind I'm the nice guy, the funny guy, you want to be around me, I buy everything.

"I mustn't be like that - as good as I think I am. I'm the one getting slagged off and it's quite sad actually."

Bear is currently out on bail ahead of a hearing into the sex tape allegations next month.
