Zayn Malik has pled no contest to four charges against him for harassment of his now ex-partner Gigi Hadid and her mother Yolanda Hadid.

On Thursday the 28-year-old singer issued a statement denying claims that he had struck Yolanda during an argument, explaining that he had chosen to plead no contest in order to protect his daughter Khai.

More supposed details of the incident, which took place on September 28, have now emerged in court documents obtained by TMZ.

The outlet says that while Gigi was in Paris, Yolanda visited her house and an argument with Malik ensued.

The former One Direction star is accused of calling Yolanda "a fucking Dutch slut" and telling Gigi via phone: "Strap on some fucking balls and defend your partner."

As a result of Malik's decision to plead no contest, he is not found guilty of the crimes but has been required to pay a fine, spend 360 days on probation and have no contact with Yolanda, while he must also undergo an anger management class and complete a domestic violence program.
