Lauren Oakley has temporarily stepped in to replace Amy Dowden after she fell ill during Saturday night's Strictly Come Dancing.
The pro dancer returned to the competition this year after battling cancer but was taken to hospital as a precaution following her most recent performance with JB Gill.
Rehearsals for the next show began today, with Oakley filling in to help Gill - a singer with JLS - prepare his routine.
Oakley is without a celebrity partner this year but remains part of the professional ensemble and would be free to continue to partner Gill for as long as Dowden remains out of action.
No return date is yet set for Dowden, who is believed to be in remission from cancer and also suffers from the bowel condition Crohn's disease.
