Former Emmerdale actor Adam Thomas has reportedly agreed a deal to appear on this year's Strictly Come Dancing.
The 33-year-old played Adam Barton in the Dales between 2009 and 2018 and recently signed up for the continuation of Waterloo Road, which begins on BBC One later this year.
Strictly producers are currently working on the lineup for this year's show and are planning to formally announce the celebrities taking part in July or August.
According to The Sun, Thomas is the first celeb to sign a deal to join the lineup and has already started practising dance moves - possibly with the help of his wife, who works as a dance teacher.
Others said to be in the frame this year include Countryfile presenter Helen Skelton and eccentric Italian chef Gino D'Acampo.
