Ex-Emmerdale actress Amy Nuttall is supposedly in talks about appearing on Strictly Come Dancing 2023.

Former Emmerdale and Downton Abbey star Amy Nuttall is reportedly in talks about appearing on this year's Strictly Come Dancing.

The 40-year-old actress, who starred in the Dales as the villainous Chloe Atkinson between 2000 and 2005, split from her husband Andrew Buchan just weeks ago and The Sun says that she is now looking for a fresh start with a Strictly stint.

"She wants to move on and not let the messy break-up define her,"a source told the newspaper.

"Strictly would be the perfect way for her to do that and hopefully restore the confidence she is lacking right now."

The new series, which launches on BBC One in September, is also rumoured to be featuring the show's first ever wheelchair-using celebrity.
