Gemma Collins is reportedly hoping to get cast on Dancing With The Stars in the US as "revenge" for being snubbed by Strictly Come Dancing.
The 39-year-old former TOWIE star memorably appeared on the 2019 edition of ITV's Dancing On Ice and has expressed a desire to do Strictly, but judge Craig Revel Horwood ruled out her appearing on the ballroom series as they go for "higher calibre" stars.
"I find his comment funny. I'm not low rent, Craig," The GC replied at the time. "We've all got to start somewhere and it's a shame to just knock someone out of giving them a chance because they don't think I'm high calibre enough.
"Well I'm sorry I wasn't born with a silver spoon in my mouth but I get 2.2 million hits on my social media. Where did he start? If anything, I'd probably bring a different audience to the BBC. It'll be called the BGC by the time I've finished with rumba-ing it up."
According to The Sun, Collins has now set her sights higher than Strictly and is hoping for a part on the US version next year.
"Gemma would love to have another crack at the US," a source told the newspaper. "The Americans loved her when she made a cameo in Orange is the New Black and bookers on Dancing With The Stars have shown an interest.
"Gemma's schedule is always jam-packed and it's difficult for this year but the team in the US are keen to secure her for 2021."
The GC recently revealed that she has been using the coronavirus lockdown productively, with a new exercise and diet regime helping her to shed three stone.
