Giovanni Pernice: 'There's absolutely no way I would ever date Ranvir Singh'

Giovanni Pernice emphatically rules out ever dating his former Strictly Come Dancing partner Ranvir Singh.

Giovanni Pernice has ruled out ever getting into a relationship with his former Strictly Come Dancing partner Ranvir Singh.

The pair set tongues wagging with their on-screen chemistry and sensual routines during last year's series of the ballroom contest but denied rumours that their relationship was more than professional.

Pressed further in an interview for Entertainment Daily, pro dancer Pernice responded: "No, no, no no no. I'm single, absolutely there's no way [I would date Ranvir]. We are very very good friends."

Pernice previously dated Strictly contestant Ashley Roberts for more than a year but they split in January 2020, while Singh is also single following a recent split from her husband.

The pair made it through to the semi-finals of last year's show and were voted off a week before the final.
