Former Strictly Come Dancing head judge Len Goodman has had a successful operation to remove a skin cancer growth from his forehead.
The 76-year-old, who appeared on the BBC ballroom show between 2004 and 2016, is thought to have had the surgery earlier this month and requires no further treatment.
"Len is recovering well," a source told The Sun. "It was obviously a shock but he didn't waste any time in getting it treated.
"He is now urging fans to wear sun lotion, especially as the weather has been so hot, and to check any moles they're worried about with a doctor."
The newspaper says that Goodman has been in the UK during coronavirus lockdown, casting doubt on whether he will return to his job on Dancing With The Stars, which begins in the US on September 14.
