Strictly Come Dancing judge Motsi Mabuse has revealed the reason that led to her taking an "urgent" trip to Germany earlier this week.
The dancer announced on Thursday that as per government guidelines she is now isolating at home in the UK for a fortnight and as a result will be unable to appear in the Strictly studio this weekend or next.
For most of the year Mabuse is based in Germany, where she shares a home with her husband Evgenij Voznyuk and runs a dance school near Frankfurt.
Posting a picture of a shattered glass door on Instagram, Mabuse wrote in German: "Unfortunately we have no good news. Someone tried to break into our school @motsimabuse_taunustanzschule.
"We are working with the police to solve this crime. We know we have been targeted on purpose, and we will improve security in our school that this will not happen again."
Strictly veteran Anton Du Beke will replace Mabuse on the judging panel for the next two weeks, although she is expected to appear in some capacity from her home in the UK.
