Next contestant eliminated from Strictly Come Dancing

The next celebrity to be eliminated from Strictly Come Dancing is revealed.

Max George has become the third celebrity to be voted off this year's Strictly Come Dancing.

The Wanted singer and pro partner Dianne Buswell found themselves in the dance-off with EastEnders actress Maisie Smith and Gorka Marquez, despite the latter finishing fifth with the judges' scoring.

"Both couples were most concentrated and both couples took the notes on board," noted Revel Horwood after the dance-off, picking Smith to stay.

"It's so close, they were both immaculate through that dance and it literally was the smallest timings," added Du Beke, also picking Smith to stay and in the process eliminating George.

In a slight surprise, Ballas then revealed that she would have saved George, despite having given him a lower score than Smith the night before.

The remaining eight couples will take to the dancefloor again next Saturday for a Blackpool-themed week.
