Stacey Solomon is reportedly a top target for this year's edition of Strictly Come Dancing.

Strictly Come Dancing producers are reportedly attempting to convince Stacey Solomon to join this year's series.

The BBC ballroom show is expected to mostly return to normal this year after the 2020 series was shortened by four weeks due to coronavirus.

According to The Sun, Loose Women panellist Solomon, 31, is a top choice for producers again this year after attempts to sign her up last year were unsuccessful.

"Stacey's name was in the frame for Strictly last year but she didn't want to quarantine away from her kids," a source told the newspaper.

"The pandemic meant she wanted to be at home as much as possible to home-school her eldest two boys and because her youngest Rex was still a baby.

"Now things are on the roadmap to getting back to normal, Stacey is much more open to the idea of making the serious commitment which Strictly requires."

The new series of Strictly is expected to begin in September.
