Strictly producers 'monitoring HRVY and Maisie Smith'

Strictly Come Dancing producers are reportedly monitoring HRVY and Maisie Smith to ensure they do not break coronavirus guidelines after the youngsters exchange flirty banter online.

Strictly Come Dancing producers are reportedly keeping a close eye on HRVY and Maisie Smith after the two young contestants exchanged flirty messages on social media.

The pair set tongues wagging last week when they exchanged banter over Instagram photos of popstar HRVY, 21, in nothing but his underwear.

In a subsequent interview, HRVY suggested that he is open to romance with the EastEnders actress, 19, even though the pair are not allowed to get physically close due to coronavirus guidelines.

"Maisie and HRVY are being monitored by the producers after it's become clear their connection could easily lead into a Strictly romance," a show source told The Sun.

"They're both young, single and hot and the thought is that the two of them could bring the other cast into risk if they break the guidelines and get closer.

"They have both been told, as have the rest of the cast, that kissing is off limits. Usually the Strictly cast are very tactile. Not in 2020.

"The cast have secretly named bosses the 'passion patrol'."

The pair finished in the top two on the leaderboard last night as the Strictly live shows finally began.
