The BBC has reportedly given the go-ahead to a second series of new competitive reality show The Traitors before the first series has been broadcast.
The programme - based on a Dutch format and hosted by Claudia Winkleman - sees a group of contestants work together to win a significant cash prize, although a number of them have been deliberately tasked with sabotaging their efforts.
The first series was filmed in Scotland earlier this year and according to The Sun, plans are already afoot to film the next series this autumn.
"Rumours are Beeb bosses are so impressed with the finished product they've already got wheels in motion with the production company," a source told the newspaper.
"And host Claudia has also been blown away by the experience of making the 12-parter, so is likely to return to front the new season too.
"It's unusual for executives to be so excited by a programme that they take this step. It's certainly a vote of confidence in the format."
The first series is expected to air in BBC One primetime later this year.
