The latest player to be banished on The Traitors Miles Astari has admitted that he was shocked by the manner of his exit from the show.
The 36-year-old was sent packing at last night's roundtable - and exposed as one of The Traitors - following a heated exchange with fellow Traitor Paul, who threw him under the bus in front of the group in order to get him out of the game.
Miles attempted to put the heat back on Paul but his efforts proved in vain as he was eliminated and Paul appeared vindicated to the remaining Faithfuls.
Speaking to The Sun about his exit, Miles said: "I knew that we'd probably have to turn on each other at some point but I wanted to see how far we could go together and pick other people at random, cause a bit of confusion, do it that way round.
"I was surprised how quickly Traitors turned on Traitors.
"I knew it might happen but didn't realise it would happen so soon and I obviously wasn't the first, so to see that play out I thought, 'This game is savage'."
Miles's fate came after he agreed to be the one to secretly 'poison' Diane by handing her a chalice of fizzy rosé, a move that allowed Paul and third Traitor Harry to pin the blame on him.
"Giving out the drink during the poison challenge, being the one that self-nominated to do that, knowing how that was going to play out, I would definitely do it differently," Miles continued.
"I think it probably should have been more of a collective decision as opposed to just me, myself and I doing the actual task because it did highlight myself. I put myself on the chopping block really.
"I probably would have made it more of a collective Traitor move as opposed to just me."
The Traitors continues tonight at 9pm on BBC One and iPlayer.
