Netflix announce that Tiger King has been viewed in 64 million households around the world.

Netflix have revealed that documentary Tiger King has been watched by 64 million households worldwide over the last month.

The seven-part series tells the extraordinary story of zookeeper Joe Exotic and his rivalry with big cat sanctuary owner Carole Baskin, which eventually leads to him being imprisoned.

The show was released on March 20 and rapidly became a global sensation, in part due to the coronavirus pandemic forcing people into isolation at home.

Netflix revealed the figures on a conference call for investors on Tuesday, also confirming that dating show Love Is Blind has been seen in 30 million homes.

The streaming giant also indicated that its Spanish drama Money Heist is expected to draw even more viewers than Tiger King.
